<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of increasing a circulation volume of lubricating oil circulated according to rotation of a driving gear and a driven gear. <P>SOLUTION: This device comprises a worm 6 interconnected with an electric motor for assisting steering, and a worm wheel having a synthetic resin annular gear 71 meshed with the worm 6 and a metallic core element 71 holding the annular gear 71 and mounted to a steering shaft 3. Projections 73 are provided at a plurality of peripheral positions with different distances from a rotary center on a side in the gear width direction of the annular gear 71, and the lubricating oil applied around the worm wheel is agitated, so as to shift the lubricating oil between the gears of a meshing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
