<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user that a face image is detected without giving uncomfort to the user. <P>SOLUTION: Object images 30A-30D are obtained by imaging an object. Human images 31-36 are included in the object images thus obtained, and a face image is detected by detecting the face image. When a face image is detected, an apple mark 41 (Fig. (B)), a strawberry mark 45 (Fig. (C)), a heart mark 46 (Fig. (D)), or the like, is displayed in the vicinity of the detected face image. Since the face image portion is not surrounded by a rectangular frame but a mark is displayed in the vicinity of the face image, detection of face image can be notified to the user without giving uncomfort. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
