摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position adjusting method and a position adjusting apparatus for a transfer equipment, which are simply structured, performs a calibration operation easily and detects a shifted position precisely, and also to provide an IC handler. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic component and a suction nozzle are lowered relatively to linear beams emitted from X-axis and Y-axis light emitting devices 31a, 32a so as to block the beams. X-axis and Y-axis line sensors 31b, 32b output X-axis and Y-axis component position detection signals SLTX, SLTY when the electronic component T blocks the beams. The X-axis and Y-axis line sensors 31b, 32b output X-axis and Y-axis nozzle position detection signals SLNX, SLNY when the suction nozzle blocks the beams. A CPU 51 acquires the center position of the electronic component T and the center position of the suction nozzle 25 from the X-axis and Y-axis component position detection signals SLTX, SLTY and the X-axis and Y-axis component position detection signals SLTX, SLTY, and computes a sifted amount thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
