PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent estimation precision of transmission line characteristics from being deteriorated, when estimating the transmission line characteristics by interpolating an SP signal that has been interpolated in a time direction, in a frequency direction. SOLUTION: A delay profile estimation circuit 19 generates a delay profile and obtains a delay spread based on the generated delay profile and FFT operation starting position information supplied from a window reproducing circuit 20. In particular, the delay profile estimation circuit 19 defines a time difference between the FFT operation starting position and a finally reached path as a delay spread. A frequency direction interpolation filter 17c uses a frequency direction interpolation filter of a pass bandwidth corresponding to the delay spread to interpolate an SP signal that has been interpolated in the time direction, in the frequency direction and estimates transmission line characteristics of all sub-carriers within an OFDM symbol. A transmission line characteristic compensation circuit 17d uses these transmission line characteristics to perform phase equalization and amplitude equalization of an OFDM frequency domain signal.
