PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer capacitor which is easy to mount while increasing its equivalent series resistance. SOLUTION: The multilayer capacitor is provided with a multilayer body and first to fourth outer conductors formed on side faces. The multilayer body includes first to fourth inner conductors. In the first to fourth inner conductors, the first and second inner conductors have respective regions opposing each other through the interposition of at least one dielectric layer. The first inner conductor is connected to the third outer conductor, the second inner conductor is connected to the second outer conductor, the third inner conductor is connected to the first and third outer conductors, and the fourth inner conductor is connected to the second and fourth outer conductors, respectively. Of the first to fourth outer conductors, at least two outer conductors are formed on a first side face of the multilayer body which is parallel to an opposing direction of the first inner conductor and the second inner conductor, and the remaining two outer conductors are formed on a second side face which is opposite to the first side face. Two outer conductors formed on the first side face and the remaining two outer conductors formed on the second side face of the multilayer body are oppositely positioned in the opposing direction of the first side face and the second side face.
