PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying device capable of housing an extracted disk tray without bending the disk tray in a disk cartridge housing a thin disk and a thin disk tray, and to provide a carrying method. SOLUTION: When a thin disk and a thin disk tray are housed in a cartridge, a thin disk tray plane has bending to some extent to thereby improve the rigidity of the thin disk tray in the direction of being pressed when the thin disk tray is housed, so that the thin disk tray is surely housed.
