PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mulching sheet which can effectively use paper sludge ash of waste, can shade solar light, can randomly reflect the solar light on the surface of the paper, can also efficiently irradiate the lower portions of plants with the solar light, and can be bio-degraded without needing a recovery treatment, after used. SOLUTION: This mulching sheet is characterized by adding 15 to 120 pts.wt. of paper sludge ash having a titanium dioxide content of≥60%, preferably the paper sludge ash free from un-burned carbon, to 100 pts.wt. of pulp containing wood pulp as a main component.
