An antiglare film which is constituted of a transparent film made of a cycloolefin resin and a particle-containing protective layer superposed on a surface of the transparent film, wherein the protective layer is a layer obtained by photocuring a composition for protective layer formation which comprises: an actinic-energy-ray-curable resin composition (comprising (A) 40-60 wt.% polyfunctional monomer having three or more acryloyl groups and having a surface tension of 37 mN/m or lower and (B) 10-60 wt.% polymer obtained by causing acrylic acid to undergo addition reaction with a glycidyl (meth)acrylate polymer and optionally containing (C) 0-50 wt.% other acrylic oligomer); and aggregate particles having an average particle diameter of 50-600 nm. The antiglare film has a maximum surface roughness Ry of 1.0-3.2 µm and an image clarity of 5% or more.
