The invention relates to a method for producing hair treatment soap, in which plants or parts thereof are selected and said plants or plant parts are dried and washed with 1% sodium hypochlorite. The plants or plant parts are subsequently mixed with a solution of alcohol and water in a ratio of 0.07:1 in order to optimise the extraction of active ingredients. The plant parts can comprise stems, leaves, flowers, stones, etc. The selected plants are: beggarticks, mammee apple, avocado, arnica, prickly poppy, horsetail, green shrimp plant, spurred anoda, spurge, croton, mallow, walnut, rosemary, aloe vera, chamomile, guava, prickly pear, romerillo, elder and mugwort. The soap thus obtained is used as is or as an active ingredient for shampoos, lotions, gels and creams.
