<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup protecting the light receiving surface of its light volume detecting element and easy to assemble saving its material costs. <P>SOLUTION: A groove 19 is formed by cutting the erected frame 4 from its top 4b down to the recess 11 on a sliding base 3 to open the top 11b of the recess 11. A reference frame 20 is integrally projected to block the bottom 11a of the recess 11 on the other surface 3b of the sliding base 3. A connection lever 15 is formed in one body with the sliding base 3 along the erected frame 4 and crossing the through hole 5. The distance α between the connection lever 15 and the erected frame 4 is set a little larger than the sum of the thickness t1 of the auxiliary substrate 10 and the thickness t2 of the support substrate 9. By folding double the tip end of the flexible printed circuit board 8 and inserting the support substrate 9 and the auxiliary substrate 10 in contact with each other between the connecting lever 15 and the erected frame 4, the light receiving element PD 2 for detecting the light volume is fitted in the recess 11 through the groove 19 of the recess 11 and positioned by contacting to the reference frame 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
