<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-allergic agent safe as compared with synthetic compounds from aspects of adverse effects, etc., suppressing a reaction in a stage before liberation of a mediator and suitable for prophylaxis of allergic diseases. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-allergic agent and anti-allergic composition comprise a soybean fermented product obtained by fermenting soybeans in a state of ≤5 wt.% of common salt or a salt-free state with any one or more of a fungus (e.g. the genus Aspergillus), a yeast (e.g. the genus Zygosaccharomyces) and a lactic acid bacterium.
