<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform reproduction processing of a system clock without using any dedicated processor. <P>SOLUTION: A clock reproducing device 10 comprises: a system clock generation unit 11 for generating a system clock; an STC counter 12 for counting system the clocks and generating internal time information; a time stamp adding means 13 for adding the internal time information to a transport packet when the transport packet is fetched; a buffer memory 14 for temporarily storing the transport packet to which the internal time information is added; and a PCR packet processing part 16 for reading a transport packet from the buffer memory 14, extracting a PCR and a time stamp from the relevant transport packet, and adjusting the oscillation frequency of the system clock. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
