<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which the difference of image due to the difference of writing time interval between image data adjoining in the sub-scanning direction is reduced by correcting variation of a latent image due to reciprocal law failure, and to provide image forming method and program, and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: Since the potential of a toner layer on a transfer member is detected, a reference toner image is formed on the transfer member, and the diameter of each light beam is adjusted when image exposure is performed depending on the toner layer potential of the reference tone image, variation of a latent image due to reciprocal law failure is corrected and the difference of image due to difference of writing time interval between image data adjoining in the sub-scanning direction can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
