PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive shaft device and its component management method which makes appropriate information management easy. SOLUTION: In the drive shaft device equipped with a drive shaft 10 for transmitting power from a drive motor (power source) connected to one end side, IC chips 1 are mounted on each of an intermediate shaft part 10a, a cross shaft joint 11, and a bearing cup 13.
