PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio data communication method for changing a control point existing in a network without generating the loss of data when a mobile terminal MN1 is performing soft handover. SOLUTION: This radio data communication method for performing outgoing (or backward incoming) radio data communication to transmit data from a first radio controller RT2 through a second radio controller AR1 and base stations AP1 to AP3 to a mobile terminal MN1 is provided to enable at least one of the first radio controller RT2 and the second radio controller AR1 to perform processing relating to the soft handover of the mobile terminal MN1 when the mobile terminal MN1 is performing soft handover, and to change the first radio controller RT2 or the second radio controller AR1 for performing processing relating to the soft handover of the mobile terminal MN1 when the mobile terminal MN1 is performing soft handover.
