PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump structure enabling the smooth rotation of a pump shaft. SOLUTION: This pump structure comprises a hollow pipe 21 extending along the center axis 101, the pump shaft 24 fitted to the hollow pipe 21, an impeller 25 supported by the pump shaft 24, and a pump case 31. The hollow pipe 21 has a joint 22 along the center axis 101. The pump shaft 24 is rotated around the center axis 101 while sliding on the joint 22. In the pump case 31, a spiral casing 35 in which the impeller 25 is rotated is formed at the position surrounded by the inner wall 34. The distance between the center axis 101 and the inner wall 34 is changed along the circumferential direction of the center axis 101 and maximized immediately before a discharge part in the rotating direction of the impeller 25. The joint 22 is disposed around the center axis 101 at the phase displaced from the phase X1 at which the distance between the center axis 101 and the inner wall 34 is minimum.
