PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger tube by which weight is reduced while securing the sufficient thickness of an outer peripheral tube and the tube is manufactured easily at a low cost. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the heat exchanger tube includes: a stage where one strip sheet T1 is divided into regions of a portion B to be made into the outer peripheral part and the other portion A to be made into an inner fin; a stage where the thickness of the portion A to be made into the inner fin is formed thinner than that of the portion B to be made into the outer peripheral tube; a stage where the portion A to be made into the inner fin is formed into s fin shape; a stage where the portion A to be made into the inner fin is bent and superimposed and joined by providing a through hole 21 to a portion brought into contact with; and a stage where the tube shape is formed by bending the portion B so that the portion A to be made into the inner fin enters the inside of the portion B to be made into the outer peripheral tube.
