A reinforced concrete roof structure has two opposite ends resting on supports 3, Fig. 1 and comprises at least two prefabricated, channel section shell portions 1, 2 having upwardly extending side walls 1a, Fig. 3 provided with tensile reinforcements (not shown in Fig. 3), said shell portions being arranged end-to-end and having an upwardly convex curvature in the longitudinal direction, the lower parts of said adjoining ends being in direct or indirect abutting relationship and the opposite ends of the roof structure being interconnected by a lower tie or ties 5, characterised in that the upper parts of the adjoining ends of the shell portions are interconnected by upper ties 9 that have been pretensioned by the tightening of tension means arranged for applying tension to said upper ties and/or to said lower tie or ties.</p> |
