NOVEL SILANE COMPOUNDS AND USE THEREOF IN ORDER TO FUNCTIONALISE SOLID MEDIA AND IMMOBILISE BIOLOGICAL MOLECULES ON SAID MEDIA

The invention relates to novel silane compounds having formula (I), A-E-X, wherein: X represents a silyl group that can create a covalent bond following reaction with the hydroxyl or hydride functions of a medium; E represents an organic spacer group; and A represents a group selected from the groups having the following formulae, in which - Z₁ to Z₅ independently represent a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, - Z₆ and Z₇ represent a group that protects the phosphonic acid function, a hydrogen atom or a monovalent cation, - Z₈ to Z₁₂ independently represent a group that protects the carboxylic acid function, a hydrogen atom or a monovalent cation, - Z₁₃ represents an imidazole group, N-hydroxysuccinimide, nitrophenyl, pentafluorophenyl, acid anhydride. The invention also relates to the use of said silane compounds in order to functionalise solid media and to immobilise biological molecules thereon.
