The device has a capacitance (4), where the electrical window obscuration device is adjusted for connecting with the capacitance and primary energy source (3). The capacitance is adjusted to supply energy for electrical window obscuration device, incase of breakdown of primary energy source. The device has a control unit which is adjusted by one interface for connecting with primary energy source. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a window assembly for airplane (2) a method for controlling an electrical window obscuration device.
