A high frequency heat treatment apparatus for a ring gear, which is constructed in such a way that heat treatment can be performed more uniformly and accurately on gear parts and gear grooves formed on an inner face of the ring gear, is provided. A high frequency heat treatment apparatus(100) for a ring gear comprises: a supporting jig(110) on which a ring gear(2) having gear parts(2a) and gear grooves(2b) on an inner face thereof is laid down; a heating and cooling means(120) for rapidly heating and then cooling the ring gear laid down on the supporting jig; and an installation frame(130) on which the supporting jig and the heating and cooling means are installed, wherein the supporting jig is installed on the installation frame such that the supporting jig is rotated by a rotating means(140), and the heating and cooling means is installed on the installation frame such that the heating and cooling means is elevated by an elevating means(150). The heating and cooling means includes: a heating frame(120-1) comprising a heating ring(121) having a through hole(121a) vertically formed therein, a latticed electrode supporting part(122) integrally connected to one side of the heating ring, and a heating coil part(123) connected to an outer periphery of the heating ring; and a cooling frame(120-2) comprising a cooling drum(125) having a sealed chamber formed therein, a cooling water supply pipe connected onto an upper surface of the cooling drum, a plurality of cooling water discharge holes formed in an outer periphery of the cooling drum, and spray nozzles(127) connected to the cooling water discharge holes. |
