An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to reduce the current leakage from a lamp body and the power consumption, thereby reducing the heat generation amount of a light source member. A light guide panel is located at the rear of an LCD panel(20). A light source member(50) is located at least one side of the light guide panel and includes a lamp body for generating the light beam. A lamp holder(52) is located at both ends of the lamp body. A holder cover encloses the lamp holder. A lamp body cover member is separated from the holder cover and arranged at the circumference of the lamp body member so that the light beam from the lamp body is directed toward the light guide panel. The holder cover includes a holder cover body for encapsulating the lamp holder. A reinforcing member is extended from the holder cover body. At least a portion of the reinforcing member is extended to the lower portion of the light guide panel. The vertical cross-section of the holder cover body toward the horizontal direction of the lamp body is a rectangular shape.
