摘要

A projector is provided to allow structure of a projection lens to be simplified by allowing the projection lens to be not moved for controlling focus distance of the projection lens. A projector comprises a light source(103), an image reproduction unit(110), a projection lens(201) and a focus control unit(210). The image reproduction unit controls light emitted from the light source as image light. The projection lens projects the image light reproduced by the image reproduction unit. The focus control unit controls focus of the projection lens. The focus control unit includes a pair of first and second prisms installed on an axis of the image light emitted from the image reproduction unit, and a moving unit moving at least any one of the first and second prisms and changing length of a path of the image light.
