Window frame or window leaf

The window frame surrounding the window and/or the frame surrounding the movable window pane or a door in case of a conservatory are made of hollow profiles. The profile unit is assembled of a basic part (1) with grooves (1a) and hook-shaped elements (1b) and an additional part with complementary segments to be clipped to the base (1) in order to serve a particular purpose or for esthetic reasons. The basic profile (1) can be reinforced by integrated bridges (3).
