A server for providing a route containing time information is provided to enable a client to acquire the optimum route information and time information based on his/her conditions by receiving condition data from the client, extracting estimated routes according to the received condition data, confirming traffic status information of the extracted routes, detecting the optimum path, and providing the detected result to the client. A server for providing a route containing time information comprises a condition input part(105), a route confirmation part(110), and an information provisioning part(130). The condition input part(105) receives condition data, including the point of departure and a destination, from a client terminal(155). The route confirmation part(110) confirms routes from the starting point to the destination, based on the received condition. The information provisioning part(130) transmits the confirmed route information to the client terminal(155).
