A dead bolt-type electromagnet door lock is provided to shorten the work time by facilitating the installation work and to make the design compact by inserting all operating units in a housing. In a dead bolt-type electromagnet door lock, a door block(100) having a permanent magnet(110) and a dead bolt insertion hole(120) is fixed to a door. A housing(200) has an inner receiving part(210); a dead bolt guide hole formed at the side of the receiving part; and a magnetic receiving groove formed at the outer periphery of the dead bolt guide hole. An operating unit is composed of a solenoid(310) placed in the receiving part of the housing and driven according to an electric signal; a shaft(320) operated according to the driving of the solenoid; an operating piece(340) combined to the front end of the shaft by a pin(330) and turned according to the operation of the shaft; a dead bolt(350) contained in the dead bolt guide hole and protruded outward or inserted to the inside according to the movement of the operating piece; and a spring(360) fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the dead bolt to supply return power. A limit switch(400) is disposed at the lower side of the operating piece to detect the movement of the operating piece and check whether the dead bolt is projected or not. A magnetic sensor(500) is installed in the magnetic receiving groove of the housing to check whether the door is opened or closed through the permanent magnet. A cover plate has a dead bolt through-hole through which the dead bolt is projected, and covers the housing.
