A discharge lamp comprises discharge vessel and electrode(s) similar to a conductor track. The electrode(s) is adhesively bonded to the outer side of the discharge vessel. The electrode(s) similar to a conductor track is integral part of laminate (5). The laminate is adhesively bonded to the outer side of the discharge vessel by using adhesive layer. The laminate comprises carrier film made of electric insulating material. An Independent claim is included for production of discharge lamp comprising providing discharge vessel, providing flexible laminate made of carrier film and electrode similar to conductor track, and adhesively bonding the laminate to an outer side of the discharge vessel.
