<p>The invention provides a process for making a PVC-wood composite, comprising the following steps:
a) drying wood particles until their water content is below 5%,
b) colouring the dried particles by impregnating them with a colouring material, and
c) combining the thus formed coloured particles with a PVC polymer,
wherein the colouring material comprises an organic dye dissolved in a plasticizer for PVC.</p> |
