METHOD OF FABRICATING BLACK MATRIX OF COLOR FILTER

A method for manufacturing a black matrix for color filters is provided to prevent the mixing of color ink by forming a blocking pattern of fluorine-based resin on a black matrix, and improve the uniformity in thickness of color filter by forming a lateral surface of the black matrix to be easily wet with ink. A light shielding layer of an organic material having repulsion against ink is formed on a surface of a transparent substrate(100). A blocking layer is formed on an upper surface of the light shielding layer, wherein the blocking layer is formed of fluorine-based resin. The blocking layer and the light shielding layer are pattern-etched to form a black matrix(111) and a blocking pattern(120) formed on the black matrix. The black matrix and the blocking pattern are heated while UV is applied to an upper portion of the black matrix.
