Agricultural tractor (10) able to operate on grounds with a longitudinal, or transverse, inclination with respect to its direction of travel, comprising a frame (11) and a driver's place (31) with at least a seat (32) and a footboard (34), disposed inside a containing structure (25) mounted on the frame (11); actuation means (38) are associated with the driver's place (31) to make the driver's place (31) selectively assume at least a first position, in the substantial absence of longitudinal inclination of the ground, and a second position, raised and inclined backwards with respect to the first position, in order to compensate any longitudinal inclination of the ground in the presence of a downward slope; the passage of the driver's place (31) from the first position to the second position, and vice versa, determines a relative movement between the seat (32) and the footboard (34) to prevent the interference of the driver's place (31) with the containing structure (25).
