<p>The structural unit consisting of swirl pot (3) and venting facility (6) is fixed to the bottom of the fuel tank (1) and has spring levers to pre-stress the fuel tank's (1) venting openings (12, 13) against the top wall of the fuel tank. The design provides for an increased fuel capacity. The fuel tank comprises a fuel level indicator, controlled by lever transmitters, immersion tube transmitters, ultrasonic transmitters, capacitive or thermo- electric transmitter. The fuel tank (1) consists of only a small number of parts. The size of the pre-mounted unit is further reduced by installing the electronics for the fuel pump controller or fuel level indicator into the top of the swirl pot (3).</p> |
