The device has a pump (5) that can be operated with a pumping movement (18) to transport the medium and an associated dosing head (1) with an actuator (10) that is movably coupled to the pump to initiate the pumping movement. At least one section of the dosing head, especially the actuator, has an integrated dosing channel (11) for transporting the medium from the pump to a dosing opening (12) and is movable between a rest position and an operating position to lock or release the actuator for the pumping movement.
