A motor driving circuit using a discrete time oscillator(DTO) and a method thereof are provided to reduce noise generated in a motor by using the DTO in order to supply a sinusoidal motor driving current to the motor. A discrete time oscillator(DTO)(410) generates a first address comprising a number of bits varying sequentially in response to a number of input signals. A data storing device(430) stores data. A data processing block(420) selects first data from the data stored in the data storing device on the basis of a second address comprising a number of bits among the first address, and outputs the selected first data and second data on the basis of the assembly of a third address comprising at least one bit among the first address. A counter(440) outputs a digital count value varying sequentially in response to a clock signal. A comparison circuit(450) compares the second data outputted from the data processing block with the digital count value outputted from the counter, and generates a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signal having variable pulse width on the basis of the comparison result.
