PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the braking feeling and reduce the cost. SOLUTION: In this electric brake device 10, a digital converter 14 converts the depression force of a brake pedal 12 into an electric signal, and a controller 2 increases the torque of a driving motor 16 in accordance with the increase of the depression force on the basis of the electric signal to increase the vehicle braking force in accordance with the increase of the depression force. Here, a voltage switching device 24 is operated to reduce the fluctuation of the torque to the fluctuation of the depression force in an area of low depression force, whereby the fluctuation of the vehicle braking force to the fluctuation of the depression force can be reduced in the area of low depression force. That is, in the area of low depression force, the delicate difference of the depression force brings the delicate difference in the vehicle braking force, so that the braking of the vehicle can be finely executed in ordinary braking, and the braking feeling can be improved. As this device dispenses with a digital converter of high accuracy used in a conventional device, the cost can be reduced. |
