<p>The method involves providing a local communication connection to external location tags (30, 31) via a wireless interface of an identification module (2), which is implemented as an identification card or subscriber identity module-card. A location identification is determined by evaluation of data of the external location tags, which is connected with a communication channel. A charging tariff assigned to the location identification is selected in a charging unit (53) for charging the services utilized by the user.
