A pipe joint is provided to achieve improved water tightness by arranging lock balls in a packing member and forming a tilt surface at a lower part of a press member for pressing the packing member. A pipe joint includes a coupling(110) fitted to an outer contact portion of pipes; packing members(120a,120b) fitted into the coupling; press members(130a,130b) having press protrusions(132a,132b) which are fitted to both sides of the coupling and contact the packing member; and a clamp(140) for pressing both sides of the press member. Auxiliary packing members(122a,122b) are integrally protruded from outer surfaces of the packing members. The press protrusions have lower part on which tilt surfaces are formed such that the tilt surfaces get narrower toward the packing members. A plurality of lock balls(124a,124b) with partially exposed tops and bottoms is arranged in the auxiliary packing members in such a manner that the lock balls are rotatable, contacting the tilt surfaces and outer surfaces of pipes.
