A cassette locking device of an automatic bill receiving machine is provided to firmly install a cassette to the automatic bill receiving machine by locking a hanging projection of the cassette with a locking unit formed at a cassette insertion unit of the automatic bill receiving machine. A cassette locking device of an automatic bill receiving machine is composed of a hanging projection formed on one side of a cassette and a locking unit(300) installed at a cassette insertion unit of the automatic bill receiving machine. The cassette is installed by fixing the hanging projection of the cassette inserted from one side of the cassette insertion unit to the locking unit. The locking unit comprises a plate(310) vertically mounted at one side of the cassette insertion unit and provided with horizontal and vertical groove units(312,313); a pair of locking pieces(320) disposed in the vertical groove unit and turned around a hinge pin(314) protruded from the plate; and a spring(330) connecting each one end of the upper sides of a pair of locking pieces and applying tensile force to the locking pieces.
