METHOD FOR MENDING OF WATER LEAKAGE INTERCEPTION IN WATER MAIN AND STRUCTURE THE SAME

A method for mending water leakage interception in a water main pipe and a structure thereof are provided to prevent impurities from being discharged by finishing a water leakage mending operation in a non-water supply stop. A method for mending water leakage interception in a water main pipe in case that a water leakage occurs in flanges(200) where water pipes(100) supplying water are connected with each other includes the steps of: forming a hole(230) in the flanges to communicate with a bolt hole; forming a coupling unit at the hole so as to connect a water leakage intercepting material injecting apparatus; installing a reinforcing member winding an outer side of a gasket interposed between the flanges to completely enclose the flanges; and connecting an adaptor to the coupling unit and injecting a water leakage intercepting material to the outer side of the gasket.
