PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a cyclical characteristic of a lithium ion secondary battery. SOLUTION: A step 102 represents a hot-press process where a positive electrode and a negative electrode are pressured and they are hot-pressed at a temperature at which PVDF is melted. In this process, a binding agent is melted, and binding force is increased between electrode active materials and between the electrode materials and collector foil, thus stress within the electrodes is mitigated. A step 103 represents a cold-press process where the positive electrode and the negative electrode are pressured and they are cold- pressed at normal temperatures. In a step 106, an electrolyte is injected into a container. The injection of the electrolyte causes swelling of the electrodes and the closely contact of the electrodes with the container, thereby compression stress is developed between the electrodes. |
