摘要 A method for dynamically scaling voltage of a CPU by using a workload estimator and a recording medium storing a program thereof are provided to operate the CPU in low power consumption by using a workload estimator after making workload profiling by a code segment unit . A voltage setting point is set to each code segment of a program(S210). Changes of the workloads of each code segment are measured based on data changed in each measurement(S220). A plurality of combinations respectively equipped with the voltage setting points are selected(S230). The workload estimators corresponding to each voltage setting point of the selected combinations are calculated based on the measured changes of the workload(S240). An optimal combination having the smallest power consumption of the CPU is selected based on the workload estimators(S260).
