A display device is provided to include upper and lower direction indicators having plural direction indicators for arranging the liquid crystal toward different directions and the additional direction indicators. A liquid crystal layer is arrayed between the first and second substrates(100,200). A common electrode(230) is formed on the upper substrate and has the first and second upper direction indicators. A conduction pattern is formed on the lower substrate. An insulating layer is formed on the conduction pattern and has a contact hole for exposing the conduction pattern. A pixel electrode(160) is formed on the insulating layer and electrically connected with the conduction pattern through the contact hole. The pixel electrode includes the first lower direction indicator for arranging the liquid crystal toward the first direction. The second lower direction indicator arranges the liquid crystal toward the second direction with the symmetrical arrangement to the first direction. The third direction indicator is connected with an end of the first lower direction indicator and includes the first and second side members, and a connection member for connecting the first and second side members.
