A torque motor driver is provided to improve operation reliability of a torque motor by stabilizing a driving voltage even when a load is increased by monitoring a current and a voltage applied on the torque motor in real time. A torque motor driver includes a current detector(14), a phase detector(16), a rotation speed detector, a dip switch setting unit(20), a digital operator(6), and a controller. The current detector is inserted to output power lines and senses a current amount of a torque motor(28). The phase detector is inserted to the output power lines and senses a phase of the torque motor. The rotation speed detector senses a current speed of the torque motor. The dip switch setting unit is used for setting various input conditions. The digital operator displays various operation modes for the torque motor. The controller stores the input condition on an internal memory, compares one of the outputs from the current detector and the rotation speed detector with a predetermined value, and adjusts the rotation speed of the torque motor. The controller detects an excess current and an erroneous phase of the motor based on detected outputs from the current detector and the phase detector. |
