A manufacturing method of a display device is provided to simplify formation processes of a spacer and an alignment layer and to prevent the non-transfer and mis-alignment of the spacer from being generated. A process for preparing a mold substrate having a groove is performed(S10). Thereafter, a spacer is provided to the mold substrate so that the groove is filled(S20). A transfer roller is rolled on the mold substrate so that the spacer is attached on the surface of the transfer roller(S30). The rolling of the transfer roller is performed on a display substrate so that the spacer attached on the transfer roller is transferred to the display substrate(S40). An inorganic alignment layer is formed on the entire surface of the display substrate(S50). At the rolling process of the transfer roller, the transfer roller is rolled with the speed of 600 to 1400 mm/s. The transfer roller of width of 8 to 14 mm is contacted with the display substrate. An ion beam is irradiated to the inorganic alignment layer with the slant direction of 70 to 110 degrees(S60).
