An environmentally friendly filler material and an artificial lawn using the same are provided to employ solid grains obtained by mixing cork chips and coconut chips with an adhesive agent as the filler material, thereby providing suitable water permeability and elastic force. A filler material(100) includes solid grains having a particle size in the range of 1mm to 20mm. The solid grains are formed by mixing cork chips and coconut chips with an adhesive agent. The adhesive agent includes silicon, or paraffin oil. The coconut chip is obtained by grinding the outer skin of a coconut with a particle size of 0.01mm to 2mm. The cork chip has a particle size in the range of 0.1mm to 10mm and the weight in the range of 10 to 40, the coconut chip has a particle size in the range of 0.1mm to 10mm and the weight in the range of 10 to 40, and the adhesive agent has the weight in the range of 10 to 40.
