A plasma display apparatus and a driving method thereof are provided. The plasma display apparatus comprises a plasma display panel including a scan electrode and a sustain electrode, a scan driver and a sustain driver. The scan driver supplies a first pulse including a positive pulse and a negative pulse to the scan electrode during a sustain period. The sustain driver supplies a second pulse including a negative pulse of a magnitude different from a magnitude of the positive pulse of the first pulse and a positive pulse of a magnitude different from a magnitude of the negative pulse of the first pulse to the sustain electrode during the application of the first pulse to the scan electrode. |
