A ring type wireless input device combined with a joystick is provided to enable a user to use a mouse while freely moving in any external environment when a portable terminal or a notebook computer is used for a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) or WiBro(Wireless Broadband) service by combining with the joystick. A main case forms a fixing part inserted into a finger and contains various control circuits. An option button(200) changes a mouse or joystick mode of the input device, and sets or releases a function of various games. A direction control stick(300) enables the user to adjust a direction for moving an object. A selection button(400) selects and executes the object. A control circuit(500) determines an operation by receiving an input signal from the direction control stick and the selection button, and outputs a corresponding control signal by the selected mode. A wireless transceiver(600) converts the control signal received from the control circuit into an RF signal, transmits the RF signal to an external device, and transmits the signal received from the external device to the control circuit.
