A display apparatus and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce an electromagnetic wave interference phenomenon by adjusting the slopes of data driving signals. A display apparatus includes a display panel, a data driver, and a timing controller. The display panel displays images. The data driver supplies a data driving signal to the display panel. The timing controller includes a converter(111), a pulse signal generator(114), a slew controller(115), and a switching unit(116). The converter converts image signals(R,G,B) received from outside into RSDS signals(RSDS). The pulse signal generator generates first to fourth pulse signals(PS1~PS4) synchronized with the RSDS signals. The slew controller adjusts the slopes of the first to fourth pulse signals. The switching unit generates a data driving signal with a multi-step slope using the first to fourth pulse signals.
