A center cap mounting structure of a steel wheel cover is provided to prevent a center cap from being separated from the steel wheel cover by restoring the shape of a rib section of the center cap after the center cap is attached to the steel wheel cover. A rib section(4) provided at an end portion of a coupling part(3) of a center cap is prepared by using a shape memory alloy. The memory shape of the rib section(4) is a triangle which is adapted to be securely coupled with a steel wheel cover. The shape memory temperature of the shape memory alloy is set to the temperature applied to the rib section(4) from a disc while a vehicle is being driven. The rib section(4) made from the shape memory alloy is rarely deformed if the rib section(4) is not subject to the shape memory temperature. The center cap having the rib section(4) is mounted on the steel wheel cover.
