The present invention refers to a core-box for transporting mineral materials having or not having a safety device, a lateral hoop-type lock or pin located on the base thereof, which is useful in the geology field for transporting mineral materials. The inventive box includes a base having lateral hoop-type locks, which is attached to a core lid having lateral grooves whereby locks are inserted. A core separating element is located into the inner portion of the box.
