<p>An internal mechanical property of aluminum-containing metal alloy object (3) is estimated by determining the resistivity of the metal alloy object, calculating the content of dissolved alloying elements in the object based on the determined resistivity and chemical composition of the object, and calculating the internal mechanical property of the object. Independent claims are included for: (1) a computer program directly loadable into the internal memory of computer, comprising software for performing the estimation method; (2) a computer-readable medium, having a program to make a computer perform the method; (3) an apparatus for estimating internal mechanical properties of metal alloy object; and (4) a method for supervising a process for producing a metal alloy object.</p> |
